  • Bill deKay, CEO

    Bill has over 25 years experience in telecommunications in the areas of wireless, paging and specialized mobile radio. As a former COO , CEO and founder for several leading wireless technology companies, Bill provides significant expertise in sales and marketing, M&A and business development. As chief operating officer and vice chairman at Dial Page, Inc., Bill created Dial Page's Dial Call subsidiary, which became the second largest iDEN carrier in the U.S. As a result, Dial Page's equity value grew more than 400 percent, to nearly $1 billion, before its eventual merger into Nextel Communications. Bill was the co-Founder of Conxus Communications, an advanced paging services provider and is a former managing director at Blue Hill Group, a venture consulting firm focused on the wireless industry.

    Bill received his MBA from Harvard Business School and his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.

  • Jim Lavine, CTO & VP Engineering

    Jim has 19 years experience in developing local and wide area network based communications and real-time information systems. Previously, he was with Data Broadcasting Corporation where he served as CTO and VP of Engineering. Jim managed and ran the technology and engineering organizations that are responsible for DBC's ticker plant development, web products development, and eSignal and InSite product development. Jim also spent eight years at Automatic Data Processing ( ADP ) developing transaction-based financial services systems and working on new ventures and initiatives within the ADP Brokerage services division.

    Jim received his degree from Drexel University in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a focus on Microprocessor-based Systems Design and Local and Wide Area Network Design.

  • Ellen Schwab, VP Sales and Business Development

    Ellen has over 19 years experience in business development and marketing for telecommunications and data communications infrastructure companies. Most recently, Ellen was VP of business development at CoSine Communications. In that role, she developed the software licensing, OSS , and network interoperability partnership strategies for the company. Prior to CoSine, Ellen directed business development, marketing, and product management for Advanced Fibre Communications (AFC). While at AFC, she assisted in growing the company's business to over $200M annually.

    Ellen holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Chicago and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.

  • Brian Bank, Investment Director, LMS Capital

    Brian Bank is an Investment Director of LMS Capital, where he brings over 8 years of Venture Capital and Private Equity experience. Brian is responsible for LMS Capital’s investments in US venture capital and private equity partnerships as well as the US-based co-investment portfolio. Prior to working with LMS Capital, Brian was a manager in Ernst & Young’s consulting practice, where he focused on supply chain management within the high-tech and healthcare industries.

    Brian received his MBA from Cornell University and his BA from Middlebury College.

  • Gill Cogan, Founding Partner, Opus Capital

    Gill brings more than 20 years of venture capital investing experience as well as experience building and leading venture capital firms. Gill is also a founding General Partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners and continues to serve as Managing Partner of the Weiss, Peck & Greer Venture Partners Funds. Prior to joining Weiss, Peck & Greer Venture Partners in 1990, Gill managed the West Coast venture capital operations of Adler & Company. In 1985, he was one of three general partners who formed the first independent Israeli venture fund. Gill's operating experience includes his tenure as CEO of Formtek, Inc. - a systems company based on technology developed at Carnegie Mellon University - which was subsequently acquired by Lockheed Corporation.

    Gill holds an MBA and a BS in Theoretical Physics, from the University of California, Los Angeles.

  • Fred Rosenzweig, President, Electronics For Imaging

    Fred previously served as Executive VP and COO and formerly VP Manufacturing and Support. From July 1992 to May 1993, he was the Plant General Manager at Tandem Computers Corporation and from October 1989 to July 1992, he served as Systems and Peripheral Test Manager.

    Fred received an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley and a BS in Metallurgical Engineering, from Pennsylvania State University .

  • Alon Segal, CEO, Mirage Innovations

    Alon has 15 years of professional software and hardware development experience focused on developing state of the art wireline and wireless digital communications. Alon also co-founded Telespree and served as CEO from 1999-2002. Previously Alon worked at Electronics For Imaging (EFI) where he reported directly to the CEO and had P&L responsibilities for Production Printing Systems, EFI's most profitable business unit. He was also in charge of R&D for the Company's flagship products such as the Fiery XJ Server and the Xerox DocuColor 40, the industry's first 40 PPM color document printer.

    Alon received an MBA in Finance and Operations Research from Tel Aviv University and a BSCS Cum Laude from Technion (Israel Institute of Technology).
