The device is automatically programmed over-the-air (OTA) and an account established without the need for customer care or retail agent assistance.

The user can sign up for a plan, choose features and set up their account via a simple user interface (UI) on the device. The UI is specifically tailored to the service provider’s business rules and needs.

For prepaid service enrollment, diverse payment options are supported (e.g. in store payment, credit card, service bureau, voucher/PIN, etc.). Pay As You Go and Pay in Advance models are also supported.
