Telespree Expands Self-Service Solution to Include BREW Devices
San Francisco, CA. May 28, 2008 - Telespree Communications, a leading provider of on-device automated self-service solutions for wireless service providers, today announced its suite of self-service applications, which includes over-the-air (OTA) activation, service enrollment and self-care applications and has further expanded to now include devices leveraging Qualcomm’s BREW solution.
As a result, Telespree’s self-service suite works across more CDMA mobile devices than ever before.
With Telespree, consumers are able to sign up for service and manage their account directly on their mobile device without the assistance and high costs associated with personal customer care, sales clerks or an Interactive Voice Response. Telespree’s self-service solution provides an improved end-user experience; significantly lower customer support costs and revenue generating opportunities through repeat use account management or self-care activities for operators.
Telespree’s new suite of applications uses the BREW solution to unify the self-service user experience across numerous CDMA mobile devices thus minimizing handset manufacturer integration work resulting in a fast and efficient time to market.
Telespree’s suite of self-service applications are network based, so operators can easily modify business logic, user interface text, payment options, plan and feature offerings, promotions and language at any time. Since the Telespree platform knows the user account information, device, channel, location and other data, activities and features can be specifically tailored to the individual user in real time through an intuitive user interface on the device. Telespree’s platform enables an integrated product solution to provide real time monitoring of device and user interactions, event reporting and dynamic management of all applications.
Telespree’s self-service solution for BREW further expands our product offering across a multitude of wireless devices,” said Bill deKay, chief executive officer for Telespree. “It makes it easier for operators to implement self-service functions and for their customers to easily set up and manage their accounts right from their own handsets.
Now that Telespree’s self-service suite works with BREW, more wireless subscribers will have access to the benefits that self management of a wireless device provides,” said Kathy Braegger, senior product manager and head of developer relations for Qualcomm Internet Services. “This service provides an excellent opportunity to improve the end user experience, which Qualcomm supports.
