Self-Service Platform
Telespree has created the industry's first self-service platform for automated activation, over-the-air (OTA) device programming, service enrollment, ongoing account management, mobile advertising and customer profiling for wireless service providers using only the mobile device without the aid of a sales clerk, call center or IVR. Telespree’s integrated platform ties together data, applications and business logic with robust reporting capability, customer care and management tools. The Telespree client-server solution enables any service provider to offer a tailored user experience for their customers on the device.
The Self-Service Platform automates a suite of applications. As the solution is network based, the service provider can easily modify business logic, user interface text, payment options, plan and feature offerings, promotions and advertising, and language at any time. Device applications, created and updated dynamically through the network server, are delivered via the web browser, J2ME or BREW client application. The Telespree platform integrates with the service provider’s B/OSS systems for tailored business logic.
The Telespree patented ‘thin client - intelligent server’ technology enables OTA programming, account activation and dynamic management of any device, whether mobile handset, wireless notebook, data card or telemetry module. Telespree technology works in both CDMA and GSM network environments.
Application Management and Data Collection
The Self-Service Platform assigns the specific user application to the appropriate device groups and sales channels for customized and branded treatment. The platform manages real time data collection from the user as part of the device application and then interfaces with the service provider’s backend and 3rd party systems to deliver and exchange data. Customer profiling is also managed by the Telespree platform to create an end user profile based on specific personal data collected at activation as well as location, device, channel and other information. The customer profile can be used for targeted advertising, promotions, plan and feature offerings and other revenue generating activities for the service provider.
Platform Management Tools
Telespree provides a self-service web tool for the service provider to monitor device status and end user interactions. Service providers are able to diagnose and troubleshoot issues in real time as well as access detailed reporting with statistical and diagnostic data of all transactions. The Telespree self-service web tool also provides consolidated event reporting for device and channel. Transaction status includes location, time, device identification, programmed parameters, activation status, application details, and other pertinent information.
