Sales Director - Western Region
Telespree, which has a fully defined and operational software platform, is entering a
potentially explosive growth period and is seeking a Western Region Director of Sales
to develop relationships and ramp revenues with specific named Sprint MVNOs including
Qwest, Disney, and Helio. The successful candidate will be entrepreneurial and have
an understanding of wireless carrier business operations, marketing strategies, and
return on investment (ROI) sales. The candidate will have a strong work ethic, high
energy, and a "roll-up-the-sleeves" approach to getting things done without the assistance
of a large supporting organization.
Position: Sales Director - Western Region
Job Responsibilities:
- Close several MVNO accounts and other named accounts that will generate revenue in 2007 and 2008.
- Establish executive and mid-level management relationships within prospect companies.
- Work through carrier budgetary and business case process for new product implementation and facilitate contract negotiation process.
- Work closely with Telesprees engineers and support staff during product roll-out, implementation and deployment.
- Maintain customer relationship and drive additional application sales after initial platform implementation.
Experience:
- Proven sales and marketing experience successfully selling into Wireless or Wireline Service Provider accounts.
- A successful track record exemplifying consistency of performance in all areas of responsibility, coupled with strong credibility and a reputation for delivering results.
- Proven successes in application sales as a "hunter" that is fully capable of developing new accounts.
- A successful, market-savvy executive with an understanding of how service providers make their buying decisions. This necessitates someone who has sold solutions into large service provider organizations and has managed long sales cycle processes.
- Strong personal initiative - self-motivated to handle the complexities of multi-level relationship development operating largely as an individual contributor.
- Possess exceptional communication, presentation and listening skills. Must be able to listen for opportunities as well as potential technical hurdles.
- Ability to travel as required.
Location:
San Francisco Headquarters or remote office (no relocation).
