Debisys Inc., a provider of prepaid transaction processing systems,
has joined forces with wireless equipment distributors American Wireless
and prepaid wireless market distributor PDI Wireless. Debisys' technology
manages activation and PIN distribution, which eliminates theneed for
"live card" inventory distribution in retail stores.
Telespree Communications, a provider
of wireless instant-activation and provisioning software, announced
findings from a report by iGillottResearch that examines the downward
pressures on U.S. mobile operator margins. The study," Realizing
the Full Potential of the Wireless Market," says carriers can mitigate
the effects of acquisition and operational costs by automating activation
and provisioning processes.
Infineon Technologies, booth
#5863, is demonstrating applications made possible with its Telematics
Communication Gateway, a reference design that integrates movile phone,
wireless networking and GPS technology to reduce manufacturer's costs
and speed marketing adoption of mobile information and entertainment
systems in new automobiles. The Telematics Gateway allows Infineon's
customers to concentrate development resources on applications and vehicle
integration.
